Have you been CHALLENGED and want to know more?

First off DO NOT take on the challenge just because you have been challenged or out of guilt or to boast about taking the challenge.  The first step to taking the challenge is to PRAY and seek God for guidance as to whether you should take on the challenge.

What is the “No Food For the Poor Challenge”?

There are millions of people around the world who are going hungry every day.

The purpose of the challenge is simple – get Christians to Fast, Pray and then GIVE to the poor who need food.

FAST:

The NO FOOD part of the challenge means no food for you as you fast.  You can Fast for just a single meal, 1 day, 2 days, 3 days or more. Learn More about Fasting

PRAY:

Seek God in prayer while you fast and think about what it would be like to have no food or very little food each day. Learn More about Praying

GIVE:

Give the money that you saved, by not eating, to the poor. Or donate money, food, or your time to an organization that helps feed the poor. Give a one time donation or better yet start giving monthly to help the poor in your local community or around the world. Learn More about Giving

CHALLENGE:

Challenge others to join the “No Food For the Poor Challenge”.  Share the Challenge on Facebook, Twitter or Google + and tag others to Challenge them to join the cause.  Be sure to provide a link to www.nofoodforthepoor.com in the post as well as the hash tag #NoFoodForThePoor
